Hello everyone,
As I continue getting through the books that were on my TBR at the beginning of the year, naturally a lot more have been added to the pile. I have so many anticipated reads – here are five more of them!
You Let Me In by Lucy Clarke
I have seen this one reviewed by several of my friends in the bookish community, and they all seemed to love it! It looks like a dark, haunting thriller.
The Huntress by Kate Quinn
I absolutely love the look of this book. From the moment I read the blurb I added this one to my growing historical fiction TBR.
Now You See Her by Heidi Perks
This looks like exactly the kind of thriller I hardly ever tire of reading. All of the reviews I have read are excellent, so this one simply had to go on my TBR!
The Doll Factory by Elizabeth MacNeal
Elizabeth MacNeal is speaking at an event I’m planning to attend at the end of May, so I hope to read this before then. It has been likened to The Miniaturist, which makes me very intrigued!
Her Last Breath by Tracy Buchanan
A year ago I read No Turning Back by Tracy Buchanan, and really liked it. Since then I have promised to read more of her books, and I recently checked this one out from the library, so it won’t be long until I do!
Have you read any of these books? If you have, I would love to know your thoughts! Let me know in the comments!
Happy reading 🙂
I have the Doll Factory on my proof pile which I’m hoping to get to in the next couple of weeks. Hearing great things!

I am also excited for The Doll Factory, and while waiting for it to get published I was thinking of picking up The Familiars by Stacey Halls which has also been described as similar to the Miniaturist 🙂

I am also interested in reading The Familiars – Stacey Halls is actually also going to be at the event I’m attending in May. Hope you love both books, Pauliina!

I loved You Let Me In and Now You See Her. The Doll Factory is on my April TBR too, I’ve had it for months but haven’t had the time to read it yet but since it’s out next month I really need/want to read it soon. Happy reading, Stephen!

I’m glad you enjoyed those two books, Kelly! Looking forward to reading The Doll Factory, and getting to see the author on 26th May gives me the incentive to read it before then. Happy reading to you, too!

Yes I’m really looking forward to it! I am going to an event where she will speaking along with Stacey Halls, the author of The Familiars.
I don’t get to attend very many bookish events like this – it should be great!
